Japanese Classes Perth
Our Japanese courses provides an introduction to contemporary spoken and written Japanese. The main objective is for students to develop the basics of everyday communication and communication skills in Japanese. Our Japanese lessons makes use of all four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students are able to satisfy basic aural and oral communication needs, initiate and sustain simple conversations, understand simple texts and write simple original sentences. Learning takes place with reference to everyday situations in Japan.

At our Japanese classes we get involved in local foreign language cultural events and often have promotions available to students so that they gain practical application of the language skills learnt, as well as gaining insight and appreciation of foreign cultures.
Japanese Beginners Level 1
The beginner levels focus on the following broad areas:
- Social interaction
- Planning outings
- Getting about town
- Shopping and other transactions, such as the bank and post office
- Booking accommodation and talking about the home
This level is recommended to people who wish to travel to Japan, and also for those who plan to use Japanese with their family and friends.
Japanese Beginners Level 2
Designed as a follow on from level 1, the Japanese Beginners level 2 class will be using a communicative approach. The emphasis will be on speaking, listening while building vocabulary in a dynamic way. The students will improve their grammar skills and will build up confidence to develop their conversation skills. A minimum of 12 hours of prior study is required.
Enrolment - Term 2 2012
We will not be running classes in Term 2 as our fantastic Japanese teacher is taking some time off to spend with her newborn. Classes will commence again in Term 3 in June.
